that part about authors getting the short end of the stick whenever their works gets adapted must've been had a deeper message than we might thought.

later in the anime (some of the newest chapter of the manga) we will see that this mangaka's student make a super popular and successful manga and try to get adaption for it but he doesn't get along with the director of the adaption and end up firing him because he was cutting some of the manga scene and didn't understand the meaning behind each of the chapters and it become a mess, this mangaka try to talk her out of firing the director because this type of thing is bound to happens when you try to get a adaption but she fails for first time but get encouraged by the mc and try again and actually convince her.
I will explain the rest of it if you want but its not too interesting till we get to the acting part of that manga.

This episode reminded me of the ex arm manga because of how badly it was adapted it affected the author probably

Oh it's not hard to understand, how many have we seen in both dramas and anime/donghua become terrible adaptations, some even completely different in the wrong way smh (though if the different was good, it'd be no problem). But it'd be funny if this adaptation was in the same boat. I wonder which side of the tracks this series will be on by the end of the season, so far seems good but Idk if it's successful in the authors eyes. If this is a faithful adaptation or good adaptation with good changes throughout, then this author might be one of the few lucky ones aha.

Do you think the author put that in there to maybe make the studio care more about their material, or because of all the botched adaptations seen??

This author does have quite the experience with both sides, as he is the author of Kaguya-Sama and that Manga had one of the best adaptations to anime ever, but the movie is almost unwatchable...

yes I'm excited to see them because in the manga they looked too much a like for me to tell who is who and memorize their name.

no the green hair girl won't have much screen time if we go according to the manga but Aqua will be playing around with a lot of beautiful girls (he is getting paid to act lovely dovely with the girls) and it will be played on tv so ofc Ruby and Kana are gonna see it, and a rumor about this tv drama that Aqua is going to act is that, every time this show happens the male lead will fall in love with one of the girls and I won't tell you the rest because its really wholesome and important part of the story.
